Just letting you know that the limited edition clear wax pressings of Beach Fossils and Wild Nothing are sold out for online sales. However, don't fret! You can still get a copy at our store (no not online, at our actual real life store) at 87 Guernsey, Co-Op 87. Rough Trade in London, Amoeba in California and Escalator in Japan will also be carrying these sacred gems.
I guess for general news. Maybe have some downloads.
Check out this cool Tools You Can Trust video. I first heard this band on the "Manchester, So Much To Answer For" cassette which I found in a cut-out bin. That was a really patchy comp of some great/good/mediocre/bad Manchester bands from the 70's and 80's, but is also how I first heard the Chameleons.
Captured Tracks is an independent record label started in 2008. The function of this blog is to provide label updates, general information and sharing records from our personal collection we can't find otherwise on the wide, vast expanse that is "The Internaut." If it's on here, it means I ripped it from my vinyl/cassette copy. If you're here because there's an old record you were looking for, check out the bands on our label, there's modern music for you, too.
All mp3's available are currently not available for commercial sale and are available for educational purposes only. None of the record labels who issued these records are currently active and the music is out of print on all formats. If any artists/labels want their music removed, please state so in the listing's comments. If I posted it, it's likely I'd want to reissue it viably anyway, so, get in touch.
